I am once again intrigued to watch this trash television. this show has shown me that if Goonies something up with a little lost treasure hunt, I could probably enjoy it lol

Honestly I thought it was trash when I first saw a trailer for season 1 but during the pandemic I was bored and searching what to watch so I thought I give Outer Banks the 3 episode test and I was hooked by the end of episode 1 and ended up binge watching the whole of season 1 and 2 then when season 3 dropped I watched 2 episodes every night before I went to bed due to work then next morning!

 

Oh yeah when I say "Trash tv" i'm talking purely teen trashy tv stuff like the OC and One Tree Hill and etc.....and of course very silly stuff happens in the story....but it's entertaining as all hell lol. Really hits that Goonies itch for me with the kids treasure hunting thing. As they're getting older it probably won't seem as cool but I feel like we can get one more good season here.

 

I would rather have one more season and go out on a high note

 

How awesome were these first 5 episodes? My wife and I are such suckers for this show. It's become the new One Tree Hill and The OC for us, but with way more adventure.

We were also fortunate enough to be at the beach while they were filming the pier/oceanic hotel scene when JJ and Kiara jump off the pier. That's the beach we go to all the time. Its also a restaurant and not a hotel. The pier is also the 'Dawson's Creek' pier from the intro of the show haha.

Anyways, pretty excited to see the next 5 episodes.

 

We watched episode 1 last night and a good start to the season tbh. Completely ridiculous as usual with the kids building their own business from the ground up with shoddy DIY construction and then the hey dirtbike race and hey I bet our last piece of gold on myself to win because I’m just crazy you knew I would do it lmao…but still entertaining as hell

 

Also shouldn’t they be getting a lawyer and laying a claim to El Dorado? Haha

 

I watched the first 5 episodes of season 4 and it's still entertaining as hell and proper looking forward to the 2nd half of season 4

Time has gotten away from us unfortunately so we’ve only watched the first 3 episodes so far. Once again really into the mystery of the treasure hunt.

my wife’s theory is JJ is the infant of the rich guy’s dead daughter, but he actually secretly survived which I don’t disagree with yet, but my theory was the shady lady that seems to be employing the big scary dude that’s played by Jadis from Walking Dead is actually the rich guy’s daughter and she too is actually alive, which makes me question my wife’s JJ theory

 

Renewed for a 5th and final season!!

Still need to see S4, but I’m glad they have an end in mind. Better chance they can stick the landing

 

5 seasons for any show a is major success in my opinion.

 

Man this first episode of the last half of the season is especially corny even for this show.

 

OMG. JJ going full JJ was incredibly satisfying to watch in episode 6.

 

I thought it was so corny. His lines and just the way they filmed it. Yikes.

But I finished it. Very interested to see what happens this next season.

 

I caught up to episode 5 last night, gonna have to dive into the new 5 soon, maybe tonight

 

Did they really just kill off JJ? Not sure how well that’s going to sit with alot of the fans lol
