I just had the most batshit fucking dream.

I dreamt Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock was in the MCU but he was going to work in some facility where both Venom and Carnage were just options for whatever uniform he took that day.

Except I guess he'd been away for a while because while he was looking for a working shower, two people wearing Venom and Carnage walked by and there was an awkward moment when everyone in the room realized people were wearing the symbiotes in the same room as the "symbiote guy", which Brock lampshaded to everyone's amusement.

Then we cut to Brock meeting up with his ex from the movies where she's helping him arrange self-help meetings to better himself and he's not too thrilled about it but seems to go along with it.

Then we cut to Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin, who is seeing video of Venom fighting Spider-Man on a screen outside while walking in the city, and I guess he gets particularly intrigued by Venom because now he's starting to do research on places Eddie has been.

He ends up in some kind of weird museum of superhero stuff, except the exhibits start getting more and more esoteric. I specifically remember some kind of demonstration of a construction vehicle that launched its digging mechanism that they told attendees came from the Penguin(!). Someone complained about how the launching power was super slow.

Then Kingpin ended up talking to some guy who ran the museum about Brock, except they get off topic talking about the South Park kids(?!!), who are standing on a shelf in the room and start talking to Kingpin.

This is where I, as the dreamer, have enough presence of mind to think "these multiverse shenanigans are getting out of control".

Then I woke up.

I guess I just can't keep track of anything anymore cause the Winter Soldier trained Black Widow?

 

I think he might just be suggesting the idea. It’s not too crazy of an idea that he trained her at some point, even if she was just a kid.

 

She trained under him at one point in the comics.

I think, if Chris Evans was down for it, an Invaders movie could be cool. Have it set mainly modern day with Bucky as the central character, but have flashbacks to that Howling Commandos montage time period establishing an Invaders team-up back then. (Though, I don’t remember what ever happened with the allegations against the Namor actor, which would complicate that.)

Give us a scene in some movie or show that shows Logan was in the MCU all along but had Dr. Strange make everyone forget about him because they were annoying him. Then a quick montage of various Marvel projects that just have him chilling in the background
