If this is at least as good as last year's Cinderella, I'm going to cry.

 

Everything looks great except the talking teapot (& friends) just looks ridiculous. Just doesn't crossover to live-action well.

Trailer looks fantastic, and Cinderella last year was great!

 

Looks a lot better than I thought it would, and Emma Watson and Josh Gad are such good choices for Belle and LeFou.

 

Totally agree. Lumierre looks like he came straight out of Pan's Labrinth.

Looks pretty good. Emma Watson was a great choice. Nothing has me hyped more than The Lion King remake though.

 

I get a live action Beauty since it has human actors, but isn't a "live action" Lion king just a cgi version of the cartoon?

 

Ugh, I forgot they were going to do that. It's not surprising, but it's still going to be terrible.

 

No, they're going to be doing it in a similiar fashion to the film Roar!

 

Maybe they learned their lesson from Jungle Book and the CGI won't be painfully tacky? Right?... Right?

This looks likes a scene for scene remake. Im sure people that enjoyed the it the first time round will enjoy and It'll be a respectable enough film but the cynic in me feels like Disney have run out of ideas and are just cashing in.

 

Holy shit. This is the first I'm hearing of this, and that trailer actually has me REEEEEEEEEAALLLLLY excited.

 

Can't tell if serious....? Jungle Book's animal CGI was probably some of the best CGI in any film to date.

I left the theater and asked my girlfriend "how did they get wolves to talk?"

Lol ... but for real... if lion king uses the same technology it's going to be amazing
