I finally unsubbed from gamepass earlier this year because I wasn’t playing anything on it and nothing upcoming was interesting me either. But I’ll always come back if something drops that I want to check out.

Bro, I don’t what is going on but this is blown way out of proportion. I thought we were all having fun. Clearly not. If I got offended over what other people thought about what games I am playing or what I am playing on, I would be a miserable person. Play what you want and where you want. I don’t give a shit.

 

I love how many JRPGs have been added to GP recently. I also don't know where I'm going to find the time to play them all

Wildly generic patents that I feel like would apply to several existing games

 

i used gamepass a lot in 2021 and 2022 but stuff kept leaving so when i eventually bought them on sale on steam i'd have to buy/install the game on xbox, transfer the save to steam, then refund the game

in 2023 i had gamepass for three months where (aside from a couple other, smaller things) all i played was Starfield, at that point maybe I should've just bought Starfield

i think gamepass is still a good deal as long as 1) you're trying out--preferably finishing--a lot of games, 2) you're not also constantly buying games, and 3) you're okay with losing access to games when they leave

nowadays i kinda use gamepass like my prime subscription for streaming, i only do a month at a time when there's something(s) i want to check out

 

I just don’t do well with decision paralysis so I like only having access to so many games at a time.

PS + Ubi is a lot better than Xbox + EA for me even though they got some great games.

I just don’t need to be spending like $40 right now when I hardly game and if I I do it’s just random PS game or COD.

I’ve only touched my Xbox in the last three months for like college football and even then I quit on it quickly.

 

I’ve been dabbling more into COD multiplayer and it’s so goddamn awful but I love playing with my cousins. The spawn rates are so damn bad, they even know it’s bad too lol

I am really enjoying it! As much as i've enjoyed any other of the games. Performance is meh at points, especially docked. Undocked seems to play better. It does start slow, it takes a handful of hours before the first boss fight BUT, deff having a fun time!
