I believe opposition even got sued for misleading shit but court said nah it’s cool

 

I tried to do my part with voting for prop 33, it is shocking it didn't pass, especially since so many complain about how expensive it is to rent even a one bedroom apartment.

 

I understand if landlords didn't want prop 33 to pass but I remember a simple google search showed what prop 33 was about and by looking at the opposition it was even clearer.

It's really tough choosing a place because all the visas are so different and the ones I want for some places are only for 18-30 years old.

Literally right before this election I was looking at houses to buy and I'm still considering looking at some this month, but if I'm going to invest that much money here, why wouldn't I just do it somewhere else? Citizenship and residency can be so difficult and confusing.

• & Johnson wants to limit the CHIPS act (so the plan is to make chips more expensive to import while also reducing the chips that America makes domestically???)

There’s a few women I went to high school with that have been posting a lot on social media about Trump winning and how he’s gonna expose the dangers of vaccines and all that. And the worst part is they all have had a baby within the last few years.

 

This is just a minor, minor symptom of today's world, but I've been thinking off and on about how it feels like there aren't any musicians really commenting on the state of what's going on.

Commercialism aside, I'm thinking about how during the Bush era you had Rise Against breaking out during that time, you had American Idiot giving Green Day a new lease on life, you had very specific Rock Against Bush albums and concerts. System Of A Down's final albums were in those days. Radiohead put out Hail To The Thief.

So what is there nowadays? Where is that fire, that energy, that determination to make an artistic statement condemning the state of our nation? I feel like I haven't seen that at all, anywhere. Maybe I've missed it.

Interestingly enough i haven't heard much pro-trump stuff from people i grew up with or have worked with at all and i am in Florida. I have heard a lot of "hey can we please not discuss politics?" to people incredibly upset and freaking out though so i am assuming that is them. Pussies can't even gloat publicly.

 

honestly, this seems more like a surface level, reactionary take on the election as a way to make sense of this outcome vs something that holds water when you really dig into the results, at least in the way it's being thrown around right now

the actual results paint a much more complex picture that's obviously going to be even more challenging to address
