How did we get here? I am happy for my sister and my 10 year old niece in MO. She was forced to learn about abortion a couple of years ago from a mom at her former-catholic-but-still-ran- like it school. She thought it was appropriate to “educate” these 8 year olds. My sister was furious (and also works in healthcare) so she explained it in basic scientific terms that she would understand. I cannot even imagine.

She’s almost 11 now, understanding more, and she comes to visit and we get breakfast and have our little chats. She’s so smart and even that young is very aware of what their plans entail. Im so thankful that, for right now, they aren’t in control of her body (or my sisters) for political or any other reasons.
