I think its a fair assumption that a high, high majority of Rogan listeners were already going to vote for him and it just reinforced it for them by Trump doing it. You put Kamala on there and I think it does the exact same thing for them not voting for her. That is due to a lot of different things with sexism being one and her/the Democratic parties completely shitting the bed messaging when it comes to populist positions. It's why someone like Bernie went on there and would see a bump and why she would not.

 

You all overestimate the amount of die hard Republican loyalists listening to Rogan and underestimate how many apolitical dumb guys listen to rogan. It happens every time he gets discussed. All I’m gonna say on the topic. Moving on…

 

I hope one of the takeaways, maybe not by the party itself because it’ll never learn, but by those in this thread that before we criticize voters we think about how messaging and outreach is/was done and what case the candidates are making for those voters

I just really hope people are taking the right lessons from this: best way to defeat your own doommerism and not give into hopelessness is to go get involved in your community. Help people where you live. Get involved in something on the grassroots level. Make little positive changes as much as you can.
