Jazzmaster with a Vox amp would do the trick

sounds like the main one is on the middle pickup with the tone knob all the way up, as the higher pitched harmony is on the bridge pickup. It’s very possible they use two different guitars but I feel like a Jazzmaster can do both sounds pretty close and that main guitar riff does sound distinctly close to the Jazzmaster tone / resonance

Composition wise it’s simpler than it sounds, sometimes two simple melodies played together can create a lush soundscape like that. I’d just experiment with a very simple recording software like audacity, or a loop pedal, to work on layering one guitar over another

That's the kinda stuff I love playing. Like the concept of "shredding" does nothing for me. I'd rather a nice fun simple riff or deconstructed chord progression to mindlessly repeat while I consider the pending collapse of life itself.

 

This election genuinely should've been a lay up for Dems but that party is ran by either the stupidest people to exist, or just slightly neater packaging of the same shitty vile people that run the Republican party. None of these people stand for a goddamn thing except themselves. Allred folded like a lawn chair on trans issues and every Republican that was against Trump worships the ground he walks on now. Should've ran with Bernie when they had the fucking chance but instead came out with three of the worst candidates they could find 3 elections in a row.

You know what's wild about Bernie? Dude is 83 and is more articulate than I've ever heard Trump or Biden be. I genuinely believe he could've won both elections had the left actually put regular people before themselves. But, nah. Gotta get those tax breaks.
