struggling to remember exactly what we did but we got a city pass type thing that had access to a lot of the bigger sites to see and we really did a lot of that. I remember liking the tile museum and there was a bridge thing where you go up like the leg of the bridge and it was a cool view of the city. food wise the pasteis de belem are super tasty and the seafood was great. we found a little restaurant with big seafood platters and I still dream about the shrimp we had.

I am in Melaka, Malaysia. My massive bowl of noodles and curry was $4, my 15 minute Uber was $3, my 2 hour bus to Kuala Lumpur the day after tomorrow is $3, my hotel is $11/night. Almost everyone speaks great English. Highly recommend it.

It was a four hour bus from Singapore to get here. I don’t regret going to SG, but oh my it was expensive. The food in Singapore was unsurprisingly great, but overall it’s a little sanitized and boring. Refreshingly clean compared to the rest of SEA but there’s so many Americans, Aussies, and Brits there. Too many pubs.
