Their hope was to signal to a supposed sensible voter that they were the party of mainstream and respectable politics. And as was the case in 2016, turns out so many people actually hate that shit!

  7. I KNOW.

My plan ... one night ... inject it all in to my brain. Take it all. Just overdose on this fucking shit. And then put it aside, and chart a different path for the next 4 years.

I'll be fucking 45 at the end of this admin, I can't do this shit again and I can't spend the moments I should be happy being depressed as fuck.

Arizona, California, Colorado, Missouri, Maryland all passed constitutional amendments to protect abortion access. Missouri of all states passed minimum wage increases. This is a policy and messaging crisis that I see being ignored for blaming third party voters and appealing to the worst, most ignorant people in our country again in 2 years

third party voters don’t swing the tide for Harris tonight. this is a much bigger problem with the electorate in general, particularly heterosexual men.

John // OC now, OH forever.

So wait, Trump was screaming about how the vote was rigged about an hour after the polls opened and then suddenly he wins? It’s almost like the whole voter fraud thing was made up.

can't wait to be required to vote in person again on the musk owned "Dodge-minion" branded voting machines that he had his twitter interns engineer to show the "ah ah ah you didn't vote for the right candidate" jurassic park wayne knight gif when you try and vote for anyone but a republican

Well I for one am really excited that now that Trump is in office, he and the republican party can finally pass all those laws and regulations on big companies to help bring costs down.

What evidence is there that third party voters, if not given the option of a third party, would have actually voted for president instead of just left it blank?

Dems seem to always just assume that those people would have for sure voted for them if that was the case, which…I feel like the exact opposite seems like a far more obvious outcome. People who vote third party aren’t doing it because they genuinely believe the third party is going to win, after all

The one silver lining is that now that this whole election mess is over, all us Americans can finally go back to being on friendly terms again

I've been an "adult" living my post college life for 13 years now. And I feel like there has definitely been a remarkable shift in the quality of my life pre and post Trumpism taking over. And honestly a lot of that is probably me. I'm the one who choosing to spend my time doom scrolling or getting into twitter fights or whatever. But yeah. Its just fucking exhausting.

Need to spend the next four years being less online. And then also find the right balance between giving a shit about the fucked up state of the country and the world and not letting it consume my life.
