I’ve watched a good majority of my relatives and co-workers all start saying they are going to vote for him simply because of immigrants and bringing back cheap groceries/gas.

I lost all hope then

 

I went with harm reduction and voted Harris, but I'm in CA where my single vote doesn't matter much anyway. Wasn't happy but I have a trans brother and Dems are "better" on other important topics.

But i can't really find it in my heart to get mad at those abstaining for voting for Harris because she's enabling genocide. it's frustrating and i can't articulate all of it, but it's something I can understand to a degree. It's the Dems fault that this was even an issue.

Whole world sucks shit anyway and largely has been marching rightward, with minor exceptions here and there. People yearn for licking the boot.

I guess I’m the opposite because I know there was never really a chance to contribute to Trump not winning. But there was a chance to make a difference to make abortion a constitutional right in Florida and that didn’t happen and it sucks.

It's a confusing thing to see people who refused to vote for Harris (for whatever reason) then reacting in horror to Trump potentially winning. Like not voting for Harris opened up that potential reality.
