What’s fun is months ago I was arguing that the dems would lose heavily due to economic message and was told by multiple people that the economy was actually good

Maybe it wasn’t a good idea for Dems to cede all messaging to young men. This shit is worse than conservative radio.

what leaves me with the biggest feeling of just complete despair and hopelessness is knowing there is nobody in any position of power in this country that will stand up to Trump in any meaningful way during a second term that is almost guaranteed to be much worse than his first. the Dems are not equipped to run the opposition party. we know this because they let him run again. they did nothing to stop his first OR SECOND ascent in politics. there is nobody fighting for me and what I believe in within the government. nobody.

“But did you see the Iowa poll” is going to be my new “but did you see the graphs”

  6. If some of these numbers hold and the dem leads aren't continuing to grow in the burbs the way that Trumps caring other numbers .. looking like Senate is now a toss up, lean republican, and House is going GOP.

Senate being possibly 52-48 doesn't feel great. They're not gonna find 3 votes to stop an RFK appointment, for example. Maybe two with Murk and Collins, but, yeah.

A lot of younger guys are cooked. So much of the media is a cesspool of conservative/sigma mentality, making it easy to dismiss everything because you see the same propaganda in ten different 20-second clips on social media.

the green party isn't even running the candidate they wanted and Arab/Muslim polling does favor Stein in places like Michigan. if the Dems lose its entirely their fault.

also yes, the average green party voter is more educated than the average dem voter if not by ratio of people who vote for green party.

Walz has the right fucking message man. It’s not about substance, it’s about how you instinctively feel about voting for the person.

Even with an RFK appointment I’m saying you can’t just revoke rules without legal justification. If you’re careful and thorough you can do it but I don’t trust them to do that and there should be room to fight. But if they have congress game over. Dems have to take one branch

I’m still deeply amused/disgusted that Trump has sentencing on 34 felonies in three weeks.

He should have won in 2020 honestly. Feel like he can do way more damage now, and it would have been nice to have this over with already

Viktor Orban fucking tweeted an endorsement before the election! And it didn’t matter because basically no one who is voting even knows who that is.
