There is a certain feeling of hopelessness when you realize that most of the voting public is too uninformed to understand economic issues and can be easily fear mongered into voting against immigrants and trans people. Like, they literally can't understand inflation or what causes it or etc and they're easily convinced there's an "immigrant invasion" going on and etc....Not sure how you combat that, because it doesn't feel like more effective messaging and policy positions would do it, tbh.

What we saw with the last Trump presidency was he was sloppy and the process being a pain in the ass is real. A lot can be done to slow down sloppy rulemakings, and I think there’s plenty of room to fight his presidency. It would be really bad but I think a lot could be slowed or stopped
