if you compare counties that have fully/mostly fully reported in 2020 to 2024, it shows a shift to the right

now a) that could mostly be a rural thing, and you'll see a counter shift in the suburbs/cities

b) we don't have a ton of that data

c) all Harris still needs to do is win PA and then two of NC, WI and MI. Which is still within reach

so still definitely not at the point where its time to panic. I'm just saying I feel like Harris's chances are worse now than they were an hour ago when polls started closing.

I disagree. I just think the analysis needs to be caveated with "there is still a whole lot can change". But can still look at how the wind is blowing. But I also don't think we're going to get any further on this -- I totally get the "hey lets not even make any sort of assumptions until we have enough data to make an accurate one" mindset. Honestly wish my brain worked that way.
