Really trying to see Heretic this weekend

As much as I want to see Heretic, I gotta prioritize seeing Anora asap and then Queer later this month. Nosferatu will probably be my next horror movie in theaters, I’d wager.

 

Damn, I really want to see Anora too. Not sure if I should use my free ticket on one of those or save it for Nosferatu (which I will make sure I see in theaters regardless lol)

 

Save it for Nosferatu!! It's one of those films I think u need to see in the cinema, don't think streaming will do this justice!

Yeah the one theater near me didn’t show up until today and it’s not something that’d usually be playing it. So I think the rollout is just slow and more theaters will pop up. Or I hope at least.

The Apprentice is not a traditional horror film and I wouldn't expect many to want to stomach it after today, but it was great and absolutely adopts the tone of a horror film as it goes on. It's like a real American horror story/step-by-step guide to selling your soul

I won’t share the tweet or article because BloodyDisgusting is dumb enough to use World of Reel as a source for speculation as to which book. But Jennifer Kent has said her next movie will be adapting a well known horror book.

 

The WoR claim is for Clive Barker’s The Thief of Always, which I’m not familiar with personally. I’m not actually familiar with many non-King horror books and I don’t believe shit from WoR, so I’m gonna say House of Leaves just to stir shit up.

 

Hot take: I’ve never been a fan of Drag Me to Hell.

 

They are apparently attempting to adapt it, which I cannot imagine will end well
