I'm telling everyone I'm going to watch movies and not pay attention, but I'll actually be refreshing this thread continuously and hoping nobody notices.

Probably going to watch Hasan's coverage. In 2020 he had all biggest online left personalities rotate throughout the night and it was fun.

 

Would they want to replace Lloyd Austin though? He's seemed pretty competent in the role, so as long as Harris is happy with him, I doubt they'd replace him, especially with someone with as little military experience as Pete.

Lloyd Austin lied to Biden about having to be hospitalized for prostate cancer. He is also 71 and is tied to military bungles a fresh admin would want to opticallly not remind people of (while continuing). He is going to be out.

You don't need to have military experience to be SecDef. McNamara had the same amount of time in the military at Major Pete and was CEO of Ford before he got the job. Both Cheney and Rumsfeld were just party lackies with little to no military experience like Pete before they got they become SoD too .
