I think Mitch already announced he was in his last term now right? I don't know if I see him expending the energy on Trump after this election if Trump loses. But man will I be glad to see him go.

    Better idea: Nationalize them.

She won’t. She’ll keep them around in an effort to be bipartisan, even though the average voter won’t really care or know about it.

Unfortunately I think Musk has poisoned the well so much that they're gonna be jittery about addressing the security concerns out of fear of looking like they're "targeting" him. Hopefully they don't give a shit, but...

Has there been any talk about a possible Attorney General for Harris? Can we get Doug Jones a job yet?

Almost impossible to find someone that could launch the volume that SpaceX can currently provide. I think ULA is really the only other rocket provider out there that can take on government contracts, but I'm pretty sure they'll be much more expensive to go with compared to SpaceX, especially since all of ULA's rockets are expendable/non-reusable.

I switched IA based on the poll and wanted one weird one so I made NC red. I think Kamala wins the blue wall and locks it up.

Last night, CNN was making it seem like we should know the results pretty early tomorrow night.

Depends entirely on how it's going in certain states. The problem is PA/MI/NV will all be the dreaded combo of incredibly close and not counted fully. WI and NC will also be close and we won't know their results probably until midnightish or so. though it's possible the gaps there are big enough that folks like Kornacki and King and Wasserman call them before then.

But without PA/MI/NV, you basically need Kamala to sweep WI/AZ/GA/NC to know who has won. If she does that, and everything else falls the way it's supposed to, you don't even need to wait on PA/MI/NV. But if any of those states goes to Trump or lingers as "too close to call", we're gonna have to wait on PA/MI/NV

I saw that doc where a bunch of political people wargamed "Jan 6th 2: with guns and military mutinees this time" and Doug Jones played the role of AG in that. He seemed to take to it naturally. Also would not be surprised if she gives it to Josh Shapiro as a concession for not being VP.

Also curious what a Harris admin would do with Mayor Pete. Regardless of his politics gotta admit he has been a good and loyal surrogate, and she certainly would promote him from being Sec of Transportation. My prediction is they make Pete the Secretary of Defence.

Unforutnately, PA isn't allowed to start organizing and counting them until the polls close.

I think MI changed it so they can organize them but can't start counting til polls close

In preparation for tomorrow, I'm conducting a test run today to see how many drinks I can mix with Klonopin. The last time I asked my doctor this question he gave me kind of a disapproving look.

I am going to drown myself in beer and unhealthy food.

I have permission to work from home on Wednesday but I might secretly work from home tomorrow as well because I really don’t want to listen to anyone in the office talk about Election Day.
