Yeah I mean that’s a red for Licha. Kinda unfortunate he was “just” trying to trip him but yeah

Holy shit!? VAR is fucking terrible.

Not watched any PL today, instead saw some FA Cup matches and found it was very enjoyable overall.

Fast, furious play with not much passing around the back. No VAR definitely helps, as well as referees who don’t seem to want to make themselves the story.

    It's all hell.

I also think it's probably something to do with City spending over a billion pounds and potentially breaking 115 ffp rules, but I'm sure we're all bored of that conversation by now.

You could have an invincibles season and only get 38 points which would barely get you above survival the last few years.

I think it’s a cool addition to that title but not really that great of a feat that it gets touted up to be.

Is City's 100 point season even a top 5 achievement in the Premier League era, let alone the old First Division?

From the top of my head, United's Treble win, Arsenal's Invincibles, Leicester title win, Chelsea conceding 15 goals across the season - all way more impressive and respectable than a bunch of financially doped cheaters.

    It's all hell.

That is true but the landscape of the league was totally different back then and nowhere near as imbalanced as it is now. And most importantly we did win the league. Nobody else has done it in the PL since, so I'm going to continue celebrating our little gold trophy like I'm sure Leverkuson fans will be doing until somebody else does it in the Bundesliga.

Nah there’s literally no need to understate how impressive an unbeaten season is. If it wasn’t extremely hard, it would happen a lot more often.

There’s a reason City have never done it. Because they can’t. Only team and manager has ever done it unless you go back to the 1800’s when there were like 20 games.

There were rumours of Edu leaving in the summer. He’ll apparently get to oversee the whole of their sports group thing, including a Brazilian club which was a clincher. Plus they’re paying him 3x more than us.

Surprised it happens now but it makes sense to get the new guy, whoever that is, into place and settled before the summer.

I was having a decent morning, then saw the non-penalty call from Saturday and now I'm angry again.

United fans tearing Garnacho to shreds after yesterday’s game. Normally don’t like to see fans go hard after one of their own, especially a player still only 20, but his decision making/glory seeking/technical execution cost us the game yesterday. Hopefully some structure and discipline in Amorim’s tactics as well as some proper man management and coaching can get him to that world beater level he’s clearly got potential to reach.

I liked this, thinking it’s probably one of those “yeah, it’s probably a penalty” incidents.

just watched MotD and holy shit, that is one of the most stonewall penalties I’ve seen this season ha. He just runs full pelt into them and knocks him over lol.

Penalty shout in the Ipswich game was as obvious as a combine harvester in Suffolk.
