The full 2019 lineup was out before tickets went on sale. I bought mine during an early bird sale.

And even if it didn’t, my opinion remains the same. Wild that a destination festival could sell that many tickets without a lineup reveal.

 

Speaking of, I just saw that Bloodhound Gang are reunited and releasing a new album next year. I could see them doing the Warped shows

 

But it is kind of cool how popular our scene continues to be, Warped tour and When we were young fest both selling out in the same year.

No, it wasn’t. The presale went up a week before the lineup.

 

I dont think its wild. Festivals like Wacken or Glastonbury sell out before their lineup because people trust in the name and the brand.

I think its a similar case with Warped, people trust in the brand. This plus the nostalgia factor and people who were too young to attend back in the day. Also people (false) expectations of having a big name like Blink or MCR. It not surprising it sold out before even a lineup release.

Also there are people from other countries that were teens/college students now can afford to travel to the US for it. I myself wasnt able to travel to one until 2018 and even tho the lineup wasnt their best, for me it was a dream come true finally being able to attend one. And I have seen friends excited that now they can afford the trip and attend one. They know the brand/name and trust in it.

And I feel that selling out before a line up release can be good, as it gives the funds to book more and/or bigger acts now.

 

I’m going to Camp Flog Gnaw and that sold out entirely in the presale. The lineup actually didn’t come out until like 3 weeks before the fest lol

I think they mean the rumored MCR tour announcing on 11/12 is just a Yellowcard tour. If I remember correctly, Ryan Key at the LA date of the tour with TEB that they had some news to share around November

Don't know why it's not loading a preview but Secrets announcement tomorrow. I'm assuming tour.

 

The 12 rumor was for a stadium tour though.......so likely unrelated...unless Yellowcard are supporting a tour.....which brings us right back to MCR

Something like MCR / Weezer / Yellowcard would be a pretty neat package
