I realize I'm late to this, but I'm interested why this is a bad thing. My mom, who was a teacher, wants this to pass because she wants to know what affiliation potential candidates have so she knows who not to vote for.

But what's your take?

 

It says you need to tap the candidate’s name, not the checkbox, which is really bad design and not the way checkboxes work.

I was unsure at first too and had that same on take until saw every state house Republican is for it, every state house Dem is against it. Every major newspaper in Florida is against it.
