warms my heart :,-)

 

yea to this day I still find digital age so jarringly bad on that album. I remember the first time I listened to that album as a whole though, it floored me

 

The whole bright eyed discography run is warming my heart... and making me yearn for fall so I can do the same thing entire discog on vinyl this year woot woot!

 

Yeah Digital Age sucks but the rest is so good.

 

I'll go to battle for Digital Age. Oddly love that track. They released a highly energetic and hype clip of them playing live before the album released. Stage diving, jumping, rowdy antics from them and the crowds at various shows of theirs, and it was set to Digital Age. Which was juxtaposed, but it worked for me. Loved it ever since that video.

 

Makes me wonder how many things I’d like more if they were first presented to me in a different way

 

I still like the lyrics and meaning behind digital age on in currents. Especially now with AI. I’m a hypocrite because I grove on tech though. So the song hits all the right buttons.

 

Threw In Currents on whilst doing chores and it’s still so good.

Call Off The Bells never fails to hit

 

I find myself coming back to this record a lot.

 

So this album is pretty incredible. I am FINALLY just now getting around to listening to the full thing after getting Apple Music suggestions for the singles earlier on this year. I have not heard anything from this band before other than “Hair” way back in the day on MTV. I’m really partial to the more aggressive tracks on here. It’s a great album overall.

 

Imbue and In Currents would make you happy

 

sorry if this has been discussed, but "You left me there like a movie" is such a weird lyric to me, like Ace really couldn't find something that rhymed and left it.

Imbue popped up on Amazon recently through a 3rd party seller for only $25 and I really regret not pulling the trigger in time.

 

I remember buying Imbue on release, and then left the package on the bus ‍♂️

 

I have a purple copy of imbue I’d probably be willing to let go of - happy to entertain offers, not looking to make a killing.
