I feel like the lack of visible addresses is supposed to look cool but me being lost isn't cool

 

I picked up a pizza today in a giant shopping plaza and Apple Maps and google maps both had the location wrong. Drove around for like 10 minutes looking for the damn place.

 

I visit high schools for work and it’s so stressful when the address is incorrect or there are multiple entrances. Lots of schools in the city don’t have parking so the added wrinkle of trying to find street parking or a garage is always fun.

 

School pick ups are my least favorite thing at my job because most schools are not set up for that many cars and while many parents learn the drill at open house and then just thru doing it everyday, I am usually only going there once in a blue moon and picking up a kid I've never met and have no idea what they look like, and staff gets so impatient like I should just know how their school pick up line works and I'm like leave me aloooone

 

That everytime I make plans to cook a special meal that instacart refunds one of the most important ingredients I need. I planned at least three pasta dishes I was going to make and Instacart didn't get me garlic and ricotta, the two things every real Italian pasta recipe needs to make them stand out.

 

Seriously goddamn Instacart shoppers dude. I specifically pick replacements so I don't have to handhold the person though the order because I am busy and not looking at my phone. I see my Ricotta got refunded (again) and then I see the guy sent me a picture of multiple Ricottas including my replacement and then refunded when he didn't get reply. Just give me any ricotta I don't give a shit, that should be common sense.

I love fall. I love winter. We’re currently entering my favorite time of the year…

I realized that expensive wireless earbuds are mostly a scam. I lost one of my $200+ Galaxy Buds and replaced them with cheap $20 earbuds from Amazon and these work in some ways better. Volume is more balanced, charges quicker, holds a charge longer.

 

I can always tell who is going take 100 years at the pharmacy when I just need to pick up a prescription real quick and the way I die inside when they just barely beat me to the line

 

I think that's true for regular buds, but there are definitely benefits to "pro" models of buds with good clarity and ANC

 

People who are mean for no reason. Trying to find a new dr and the office I called the receptionist was so mean I got off the phone and cried. I get it’s stressful and I’m sure a hard job, but no need to yell at me when I’m being polite and just trying to schedule an appointment!!

 

Yep. Everyone has bad days and I understand that, but unless you're dealing with an asshole, your job is literally customer service and the LEAST you can do is not be mean. I'm sorry that happened to you, I've had that exact experience when looking for a psychiatrist and it put me off of calling places for a full week. I say this all as someone who almost ALWAYS sides with customer service workers over customers
