I can't respect this argument - it is equivalent to professional sports players blaming losing a game on one bad call

they need to play better so that one "bad" call doesn't mean they lose a game the same way that someone running for something needs to be better than the other candidates and earn voters' votes

it also veers too closely to the idea of voters somehow 'owing' someone votes, which is gross, these people are all highly paid professional politicians

I think if I were a Democrat and I lose to Trump, I would simply ask myself how I could get a few million of those green votes back the next time I run.

You all inspired me to check out the Cure album and I hit play on the album on youtube and for some reason it skipped hte first track and started at "And Nothing is Forever" and yeah that was quite a track. Smith's singing isn't always my favorite just because it sounds very similar all the time to me, but I do love how haunting it can be.
