Yeah, it’s a parody/homage of 50s monster movies. It is very, very dumb and the writing is hilarious.

Ok this is pretty special. It’s not gonna be for everyone but you all should look into it and watch it if you think it’s your kind of thing. It’s delightful and the monster is hilarious looking.

And one of the scenes is the funniest thing I’ve seen in ages.

Been meaning to watch

 

rewatched The Night House. Rebecca Hall is amazing, of course. I remember being really impressed by the vfx in the theater, but once i got to those scenes at home i was kind of underwhelmed. don't get me wrong, any time the outline of Nothing is shown in the architecture and turns towards her is still super unsettling. i don't remember it being so tense, maybe knowing the ending makes the lead up scarier because you're not so busy trying to piece together the mystery of what's going on. if you haven't seen this already obviously go watch it, but if you have, it might be worth revisiting.

 

I wish I had more time! I wanna see this!
