Okay so here’s what happened:

Our Nanny was talking to the librarian who was asking if our house sold (we’re like right next door so that’s not weird.)

The buyer overheard and interjected “uhh I was actually the one who was supposed to buy that house. It was our dream house.”

She then preceded to say that we denied them an extension and told them on Sunday night they needed to have the entire $555,000 in cash by Monday morning and that basically our realtor was being shady and screwed them out of the house

None of that is true, and she’s neglecting to point out that it was her 4th request for an extension that got rejected, but it makes me so happy she’s walking around town steaming mad feeling like she’s the one who got screwed.

 

I mean, no one is gonna go out there and say to Stephen Holder that “yeah it really put us at a disadvantage that teams are taking DBs off the field against us at an alarming rate and we’re still nearing NFL record levels of inefficient in the air anyways” or “yeah it’s really a problem that the gap between Indianapolis and the #31 team in time of possession is the same as the gap between #1 and #12 in the league”

My dad is an oddball. Has always been conservative but loved Bernie in 2016 (though he voted for Trump in the general). Voted for Trump again in 2020. However I have heard him talking poorly of Trump unprovoked recently, so I have no idea which way he is leaning this election. We don’t really talk politics much anymore but he used to disregard what I say since I’m a “socialist/communist”. I think my mom voted conservative until Obama came around. Since then I think she has voted Democrat, but she never talks politics. My sisters are all democrats.

My in-laws however are Trumpers. They are quite well-off and my father in-law is a retired Marine so…it sort of tracks. One brother in law just voted however his dad does, and the other one I would be shocked if he has voted recently. He only really cares about climate stuff.

 

Yeah if someone eats junior mints I just assume it is a call for help
