The only lyrics my teenage self didn't care for was for the most part was in "Give me one good reason" I felt like most of the verses and the chorus were cringey. I loved the tone in the clean guitar and bass though. There is also the way that Tom's palm mutings sound on the album that I really like, the best I can describe the tone is "wet and loose" lol

The guitar solo/bridge in GMOGR is one of my favourite blink things ever, purely out of associated memories and how it made me feel at the time. I love it.

ignoring Mothers Day, it's so funny the bottom 2 least played are among the most universally beloved deep cuts not just on TOYPAJ but in their discography as a whole. EILFY especially since that song I'm pretty sure is still among their top 15 most played songs on Spotify.

and i bet those 2 Online Songs performances are Mark's acoustic livestream one, and then the other alleged performance back in 2001/02 that may or may not have even happened. i feel like the opening of Online Songs alone would get a bigger pop singalong now than some of their live staples (cough cough Down). and imagine letting the crowd yell "SHIT" after the first verse! come on!!

Everytime I Look For You should 100% be played and it’s insane that it’s been played live twice.

0% chance they played Online Songs live, those set lists seem fake to me. Also wild that Mother’s Day was played live in either 1998 or 2000 before they even recorded TOYPAJ.

I wonder how inflated the numbers are for "Happy Holidays, You Bastard". Sometimes they played it twice per show, in the dark, etc.

I need to made more aware of killer blink lyrics. The verses and bridge of YDKWYG discussed yesterday were great. My problem is that I never pay attention to song lyrics hardly ever and then when I'm made aware of some great ones, it unlocks a whole new appreciate for that song.

My Blink-182 cover band tried adding Online Songs to our setlist once and it was hard for all of us to sync up with it in rehearsal so we removed it lol

No chance Mark survives Online Song's chorus in a live setting. He'd have to trade off with Tom for sure (could be epic? Please do it?)

If they ever did it (probably never) they could do it how Mark/Skiba did the Party Song. Have Tom do the last measure to let Mark take a quick breath before continuing on.

I wonder if anyone under the age of like 25 questions what exactly "your screen name used to be mine" means

I'm 36 and I still don't understand this lyric? Did they share a screen name before they broke up? You can't both be on AIM at the same time...is it a metaphor? lol

Always took it to meant like "that's my girl/guyfriend"

lol you know, now that I think about it, I never really questioned what it meant. I had always assumed it meant that the girl used to have something along the lines of "Mark's Girlfriend" somewhere in the screen name like people did back in the day. Never considered the sharing aspect.

Could have meant that she changed her screen name to one that was similar to a name he used to use? Like a reference to something they had in common and now it's a tough reminder when he sees it.

I don't know. I was just pointing out the dated "screen name" reference but now you made me think lol.
