I've pretty much been through the same cycle but I'm scared to get too optimistic

I'm getting really really nervous though, my anxiety is going nuts. If you guys just straight up had to make the prediction now, who do we think wins?

 

I saw a post on Threads where they showed a clip of 2015 Trump and a clip from today. Dude has declined so badly. Truly pathetic. He said awful shit in 2015, but his energy was so much higher and he doesn’t look frail at all. Physically, he’s a shell of a man from then to now.

 

Right now I think Kamala might have it. I think the last minute energizing of Puerto Ricans will win her PA, and I am started to buy into the theory that Kamala voters are being underpolled. That gut feeling could change on a dime in a few days but that is what I am feeling at the moment.

I have also been trying to tell people for months now "Florida probably won't flip back Blue, but it will be way closer than people expect or polls are showing", but if PR voters turn out in a big way in Florida after all this recent stuff? Changes the equation entirely. Kamala pulling a shocker and flipping Florida is my longshot wildcard bingo card pick of the election.

Once again asking people to think about how miserable it would be having it be dark past 8 AM in the winter time

The alternative of switching it the other way would be way worse though. Don't wat 4:30 AM sunrises and 7:30 PM sunsets in the summer.

But this is why the current way is best. Just switch the day and time we're doing the spring forward/fall back

Again, going to work in the dark is way less depressing than coming home in the dark and realizing you've given your entire day away and don't get to experience an ounce of sunshine.

At least you know the sun is coming and you'll get to say hi to it on the other side. You're way I have to say so long to the sun at 9am, hope I maybe get a little at lunchtime and then that's it. I’ve always liked nighttime more than daytime, i get fewer headaches. I usually am out the door around 5am or so for work, so i leave when it’s dark out regardless.

It’s dark now when I’ve been waking up for work at 6:30 and I absolutely hate it. Can’t imagine how bad it would be if my tired self had to make my whole hour drive to work in the complete darkness.

extremely disagree. The vibes of getting out of work and driving home while the sun sets is actually kinda nice to me. If that makes me a psychopath then fine
