All 4 of his NYC shows sold out insanely quick and are going for hundreds of dollars on resale. Is it safe to say he's bigger than The XX at this point?

 

did 2 nights at Forest Hills this past August as well. plus 3 red rocks shows in 2 days on the same tour.

 

People aren’t familiar with King Gizz? Literally one of the only young exciting rock acts out there.

 

They could be the best band in the world for all I know but I’ll never find out because 26 albums is simply too much for me haha

 

a lot of them have “gimmicks”. favs are fishing for fishes for a psych sound and infest the rats nest for a metal sound.

When We Were Young is coming back next year on October 18th. Presale starts on Friday, expecting lineup to be announced sometime in the next day or two (unless they pull a Warped Tour which is highly unlikely).

Def not for everyone, I’d say lean way more closer to the festival crowd than more to a scene crowd.

really enjoy hearing a band jump from genre to genre like them. Just makes the live shows frustrating when they put out 20 albums in 10yrs.

 

Okay just listened to like, 5 songs. Some good stuff but it’s jumps all over the place for me. I see the appeal but too much material.

 

Love me some King Gizz and dont think I've even bothered listening to all their records. Heard nothing but great things about them live and kinda mad at myself for not seeing them this past summer when they did Thompson's Point. The live video looked awesome.
