Also the problem with the "come on he is a comedian.." Is barely anybody watching knows what Kill Tony is. They don't who he is a comic. He is just some dude speaking at a right wing political rally.

You don’t think they introduced him as a comedian? Maybe they didn’t but I wonder what they thought he was otherwise lol he seems to do be doing the edgy comedian thing where he’s implying oh come on these are jokes

Stephen Miller’s psychotic shit was truly concerning though. that’s where I’m like yeah we don’t need more power in those hands. Bug again I have to say we’re throwing Palestinians and Lebanese people into the fire which is beyond unacceptable but here we are

  8. That Puerto Rico bit... What was even the joke? Was he just going for gratuitous discrimination to get the crowd wild or something?

I feel like you gotta support a SAF victory over the RSF.

I hesitate to say it’s insane - because what is remotely sane about anything involving the Trump campaign - but still, it’s insane that they brought up Tony Hinchcliffe, the comedian best known for being a Rogan hanger-on and notoriously calling an Asian comedian every slur in the book, along with racist Hulk Hogan and Rudy Giuliani - who somehow is able to show his face after the lawn business thing.

Whole things sucks. We're supposed to somehow be okay with "dont actively push for stuff to hurt trans people but still sit back and let it happen and actively support genocide but so does the other guy so from a purely utilitarian standpoint you're still better off voting for us"

Honestly part of me wonders if we wouldn't have been better off with Trump winning in 2020. We could've had a real primary. Economic downturn probably would've been even worse (just look at the UK). But I think 2020 Trump at least still had a few safety rails in place where 2024 Trump on a revenge tour replacing everyone with yes men is gonna be super dangerous. And if he loses great we don't get a primary in 2028 either

There are 1.1 million Puerto Ricans in Florida, plus over 500k Haitians in the middle of an election with two highly popular state ballot amendments that are driving turnout of predominantly young low propensity voters who are underpolled.

I still not hedging my bets that Kamala flips Florida blue, but I think it will be a whole lot closer than some people outside the state are expecting it be. All the conditions are there for a Florida Dem resurgence.

I have read some analysis that Florida Republicans were hoping 10/7 would energize South Florida jewish voters to side with them and be their lock to keeping FL red forever, but they were then shocked to learn that most average American Jews are not single issue voters and Israel ranks pretty low on their concerns in polling. Which is why you see Trump complaining about his lack of Jewish support so much.

Only the third time the LDP has lost the majority since 1955. Good news, imo

Ishiba might lose his position as Prime Minister (which is unfortunate, as he advocates for Japan acknowledging its war crimes), but having what is essentially a single-party system for seven decades isn’t good, either.

She’s definitely taking advantage of the current headlines, but all of this sounds great.
