Sup. I just worked a buyout of my restaurant last night. I polished like 200 glasses and nearly 1000 pieces of silverware.

 

Tonight we have over 100 people coming to the restaurant which is already a lot for any restaurant that only staffs 4 servers at a time but it’s especially a LOT when it’s fine dining and we have way more steps than just taking orders and clearing plates.

Prob will be asked to take 40 of those people because the other servers can’t handle more than 20 each and will prob make $700-$800 in tips but only get half that or less after tip share

Schedule doesn’t always happen like this but just on day 6/7 of work and specifically 3/4 of 12 ish hour days.
