ILYSM became so much better to me by just skipping The War on Terror

That whole album is magic, no skips for me.

Fuck yea. Making plans for Roanoke show. One of few band bands that I feel every album is essential yet can’t pic a favorite. New album included.

I can't wait to eat momos and listen to these songs live in two weeks

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

War on Terror is amazing wtf

I don't really hear a mid-album slump honestly, you've got an absolute banger right there in Grief Retreat

I wish I was in love with it like you all, I really wanted to be! I've come to appreciate a lot of the tracks individually over time.

Fair shoutout to Grief Retreat earlier which was a sleeper for me!

I will be okay. everything Supporter

I also don’t really like the middle run. If they broke it up a bit by just putting simple glyphs a track or two earlier I think I’d enjoy the whole album more

Simple Glyphs, See You Better Now, and Sucking at the Birdshot need to be next to each other though. the sequencing is perfect there

The latter two, definitely. I don’t think the record needs the only three songs with energy all bunched together tho

He sings a lot like Dylan on here imo

Yeah. I don’t think he sounds like him but I think it sounds like he’s singing like him on a lot of this

I don't know how you could hear any album this band has made and not notice the clear Dylan influence on any of them lol

For sure, Wild Pink and War on Drugs, I think of them as cousin bands anyway….but like sometimes Adam is singing and I’m like….is that Bobby D?

Sprinter Brain came on randomly and yeah it’s evident the guitar tone on this must be preserved

it’s a pretty easily achievable tone, more bands should do it
