Lmao. I watched it on a flight to Japan and I had to watch it in three parts. I’m surprised that one seemed to go pretty under the radar

 

decided to just have a Stephen King day and watch the original Salem's Lot. so wild that the same dude directed this, Poltergeist and TCM. talkin bout motherfucking RANGE

I watched Terrifer tonight. Not a fan. It was fun up until that kill that was way too misogynistic.

Also, some backstory. I'm a school counselor. I met with one of my students this week, a 14 year old boy. I asked him about movies and he said he just watched Terrifier and loved it. I'd heard it was gory but that's it so we talked horror a bit and I told him I'd watch it. Now it makes me sad that a young boy watched this.

 

I could, but as a fan of the original and bad movies, I must subject myself to it

finally getting around to The Substance and I can see this being my favorite of the year

Finally watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 last night. I'd started it maybe 4 or 5 times in recent years and would pause and just never return to it.

I admire the grimy atmosphere and final act and that they went for a wild tonal shift but I don't think I ever want to watch it again.
