I don't think it matters and I don't think he'd really do it. But the dumb people who vote for him will hear that and think "great, I don't have to pay taxes" without thinking any further than that.

 

Unfortunately yes, the grifters are gonna start running with the idea that we don’t need income taxes and dipshits will believe it. It won’t actually happen, but what will happen is the democrats will hear enough of it and eventually adopt a stupid conservative goal like lowering taxes for corporations and the rich just to gain some more centrist votes.

When I was in high school, I worked at a restaurant as a busser prior to Illinois banning smoking inside places of employment.

It was really messed up how my coworkers and I would have to expose ourselves to hours of second-hand smoke each shift, and that countless parents brought their children to be seated in the smoking section bc they would rather put their kids’ health at risk than go a meal without lighting up. Good riddance to smoking sections.

 

re: smoking in public places, the worst was at venues. It’s already absurdly hot at some of those dive bar type venues, and when you added in smoking, good luck lmao. I passed out at a local show once from the heat/smoke combination

 

This is like the textbook reason why lol. Say you can fix the economy and blame an out group that you’re gonna get rid of and that will fix the problem
