Carved is an example of the lost of art of made for television horror movies. Silly but fucking gory.

    Perfect 80s horror.

Blob related and fun fact- The original blob from the 50s was filmed in the town I live in (Phoenixville, Pa) and they do this thing called Blobfest every year. The movie theater from the movie is also still in business and they show new releases and older movies all the time. My wife and I saw Poltergeist and American Werewolf in London there.

Train to Busan and Coffee table were both great. I was going to show my wife The Coffeetable but my daughter was just born so I think that’s out forever now lol. I need to watch The Sadness and The Wailing.

this definitely falls under "movies I forgot John Travolta was in". great movie though

  11. and Rahul Kohli's "I can even get Hemsworth to send me a new hammer" LOL. I forgot how funny this show is

Definitely put the Coffee Table on the back burner lol I haven’t watched such a cringy, stressful situational horror like that in a long time. My GF and I were squirming the entire 2nd half of the movie.

  14. Late Night with the Devil was ok. Some of the effects/reveals were pretty cheesy. But the concept and some of the parts were creepy and fun. Could have done without the “behind the scenes” bits because those didn’t feel legit.

Seeing what VHS’s are streaming for me. Looks like just 1(which I’ve seen many times), 2 which I think I’ve only seen once, and Viral. Viral has a very poor meta critic/rotten score so I went 2. Loved 94 and very much want to see Beyond.

    Settled on 2 for tonight

2 is the best VHS by a fair mile

I don't know if there's a consensus favourite given how much the quality changes but it seems to be generally regarded as the best. I think most people agree Safe Haven is the best segment in the series

  20. Consensus actually seems to be Beyond now, which I don't necessarily agree with, but besides that the fan and critical favorites are likely 2 followed by 94. But maybe I'm biased

Watching the first one tonight. Haven’t rewatched any of them so I’m sure I won’t remember much lol

  22. Joe Bob throwing shade at Exorcist: Believer is funny, I usually don't expect them to spill on stuff like that consider their connections and guests (Blum was on the show a couple of Halloweens ago)

  23. I still need to see Smile 2 (and, before that, rewatch the first one) and I just noticed Your Monster is out (and Anora and We Live in Time, not horror but also highly anticipated) there's too much to watchhhh

  24. Yeah, I don't know how I'm expected to finish Gore-Us when I have Terrifier 3, Frankie Freako, Carved, Red Rooms, Speak No Evil, The Crow, Daddy's Head, MadS, and Azrael to watch, let alone catching up in the Horror Flick of the Week Club. I want to watch as much from this year as I can, but there aren't enough hours in the day.

Lmao. I watched it on a flight to Japan and I had to watch it in three parts. I’m surprised that one seemed to go pretty under the radar
