I did not care for Halloween 2018 at all when I first saw it. Decided to revisit it yesterday and while there are many moments I very much dislike, I found myself enjoying it quite more. There’s also some really good kills in there. I think my main problem is the forced “funny” dialogue doesn’t work more than half the time. Then the doctor heel turn .

 

Working down my list started The Blob before bed and will wrap up later. Then I’m thinking some nautical dread with The Lighthouse or actual terrifying dread with The Blair Witch Project.

 

Remus was in Romulus, so I don’t know how much that would make sense.

 

This one will be from the viewpoint of the xenomorph.

Prometheus and Covenant were the names of the ships in their respective movies. Romulus was the name of the station in the movie with Remus being the other side of the station.

 

I was ahead for so long, but I have somehow reached the point where I need to watch one Gore-Us pick each night to complete it successfully. Should probably aim for two, because Tuesday is my wedding anniversary and I feel the urge to watch Carnosaur before Carnosaur 2 lmao

Will probably finish Duel along with The Last Drive-In tonight

 

I have 8 movies left on the 60+ movie list that my GF and I started in mid September. I feel pretty accomplished for actually finishing the list. I’ve discovered that I like foreign horror the most. My top 4 watches are Train to Busan, The Sadness, The Wailing and The Coffee Table. I’m gonna cap it off with Hell House LLC and Hell House Orgins on Halloween which will be a new tradition since we absolutely adore those movies.

 

Started Joe Bob's The People Under the Stairs MonsterVision episode last night for my trapped in a suburban house pick.

Usher rewatch: kinda wish Kate wasn't the second to go, but i love her delivery of "I don't give a shit, Beth!" iconic.

I haven’t watched his other movies (I know) but I’m looking forward to throwing this on tonight

 

I only just watched PG and it was a blast. This one seems even more up my alley.
