Of course he’s saying that. I think he loves him as a performer.

If you follow Seth Simons’s reporting, Gillis is still parroting conspiracy theories and making anti-trans and homophobic jokes. He’s not changed just because his Netflix standup was less offensive.

  2. Still so bummed at this show for letting him host. Obviously not their worst offense but I would’ve rather they just kept him on the cast to be outshined and slowly forgotten than handing him and his crybaby followers that W

His episode was so bad from what I remember, so it at least confirmed they made the right choice by giving him the axe. Hopefully it convinced them to never bring him back.

I know she's new, and Im willing to give her a chance... I am...

But I haven't liked the Tiktoks shes done, and Im starting to cringe when I see Jane Wickline on stage.

Glad they went with Burr in the post-election spot instead of following tradition with Chappelle.

Honestly shocked they didn’t get Chappelle again but maybe they knew there would be backlash and didn’t want to have to deal with the PR of booking him again?

  12. We’ll get an article in a year about how pissed off Lorne was about not being able to hire him for it again

I think there's a rule where two separate Chappell's can't appear in consecutive episodes.

Am I supposed to like Bill Burr? I know he is a Boston guy, so yes, I should like him - but did he say something that went against the grain at one point?

I liked the Sam Adams bit on SNL last time, but his stand up didn't work for me, for what I saw. I should give him another chance?

I’m not the biggest fan of his standup. I think he’s generally a pretty funny guy and as said, better option than Chappelle. Also, the Legion of Skanks folks hate him now for “going woke”.

I like her a lot, but she’s still clearly nervous on air.

One of my favorite Burr moments was when he called out Rogan on his podcast for trying to start a debate on vaccines.

But also that 15 minute on stage tear down of Philly when the crowd wouldn’t stop talking

Yeah Burr definitely pushes limits but I think his heart is in the right place on most issues (so far)

    He's also fucking hilarious
