Yeah man it’s hard to show someone you care when they’re isolating themselves. And it’s ironic because if they actually were open to the people who cared for them, they might feel a little less alone and feel a little less need to isolate in the first place. A lot of times people who are struggling isolate out of embarrassment or shame thinking their loved ones are coming from a place of judgment, and that’s what’s really tough to break through when you don’t care about all that shit and just want your half brother or other family member to see that you’re there for them.
