They could, but for smaller bands like that I don’t know if the value is there for them to go in studio and re-record when it’s easier to just do live album versions.

 

There aren't decent quality versions of "Hide From the Orchestra" and "Fuck You, I'm In Space" floating around, are there? The ones on Youtube sound so bad.

Been meaning to revisit those Thrice albums, I really like TBEITBN but I remember thinking Palms was really boring and the newest one somewhat bouncing back from that

 

They’re all great.

 

Yea that comeback thrice album is one of their best , UOs is ok though most people do think it’s their worst

 

real ones know the best comeback album from this scene is otherness

 

Horizons / East is probably my favorite of the three. Palms is easily my least favorite though

Further Seems Forever is the gold standard of disappointing reunion album for me.

 

not in this scene but Hum came back after 20 years and dropped possibly their best album
