For the record, did you know that Chik Fil A uses refined peanut oil to cook everything in....

My wife and middle daughter are allergic to nuts - always have been, always will be - my wife doesnt even like baseball games, where the smell could set her off....

Regardless, both of them have eaten the chicken and fries with zero problem. And if someone was going to react to the peanut oil, it would be them....

It's been said from Mt Sanai (decades ago) that refined peanut oil is ok, and i never believed it.. until now :)

 

Yeah it's the way the oil is refined. Our daughter is also allergic to peanuts and CFA is one of the few safe peanut free restaurants.

 

I've never been to one, partly bc I think there's just too many other food options in LA

 

Not a fan of fast food and even less a fan of homophobia

 

if y'all desperately want something like Chick-fil-A, Sam's Club sells pretty reasonable dupes

 

Walmart sells knock off Chick-fil-A sauce and knock off Raising Canes sauce. Just use it with some fried chicken that isn’t mid. Saves you money anyway. Lol

 

And you don't have to wait in any lines

I was gonna mention that but I didn’t know if it was just my area that’s always absolutely insane. lol We just got raising canes in the areas around Philly this year so they’ve been mobbed constantly. But chick-fil-a hasn’t chilled out in 2 decades. You can’t even park in their parking lot to go in because they keep adding lanes that make it impossible to use the actual spots. You always have to park in the Lowe’s parking lot that it’s next to just to go pick something up. It’s fucking wild.

 

there was a point a few years ago where the lines for Chick-fil-A were so packed here that most days there were a couple cops parked in the middle of the road to direct traffic because the lines were so long that they extended our to the road (mind you, also the busiest road in town). it got so bad that i believe city council stepped in and told Chick-fil-A to get their shit together, so the restaurant closed for about 5 months while they completely redid the drive-thru and parking lot. it's a lot better now but always insanely crowded.

 

There’s a Starbucks near our mall, that’s right off a turnpike exit and on a major road, that will completely shut down the right lane like that example in the video. There’s also an accident right there all the time because people think it’s legal and totally safe to make a left out of there. Over 10 years and absolutely nothing has been done.

 

Yeah there’s a Dutch bros by our house on a major street that has a suicide lane near it and there’s constant accidents around it.

Grilled Chicken at Chick Fil A can be served on a gluten free bun. No other fast food here does a GF meal like that.

 

Not really gluten free if it’s stored and prepared in the same kitchen.

Not yelling. Never heard of it actually, but I don’t doubt it.

I feel like no one even brings up the chicken when they talk about their favorite things at Chick-fil-A. It’s either waffle fries, their sauce, their lemonade, and/or milkshakes. Not saying there aren’t people that love their chicken though. Just my personal experience over the years.

 

I know Chick-fil-A kind of flaunts their conservativeness, but I promise you no fast food place ownership has good politics.

 

I visited the US for the first time ever this february and CFA sadly was the only place that actually lived up to the hype imo.

I liked It's Florida, Man. I was hesitant at first because I assumed it what going to be too overtly insulting and demeaning to people who live in my state but I think it hit the right tone. You can show that Florida is weird without being too mean to the people who have to live through the weirdness.
