Idk I just don’t see a lot of swifties camping in the desert for a weekend (most hotels/rentals are gone).

Majority of my friends that are into Taylor are girls 28-40, I couldn’t pay one of them to go camping at a festival with me…also hard with babysitters and such (can’t really bring your little ones to Coachella vs The Eras tour).

She’ll pull prob the biggest crowd in the festival history but I truly think it’ll be a lot more casual fans than we think.

also, they’ll def be counterprogramming if she plays…Beyoncé had a couple acts at the same time as her as well.

X Japan and Highly Suspect were the only people that played at the same time as Beyoncé and they had like 50 people in their crowd lol. Frank didn’t have counter programming, I bet Taylor wouldn’t either

Blessed Madonna had a decent crowd in Yuma. Give me Amelie Lens or Sara Landry in the Yuma during Taylor and that’s best case scenario.

Adam Beyer was in Yuma during Frank as well.

It's an opportunity to see Taylor Swift GA for the hundreds of thousands (millions?) in the US who tried and failed to get Eras tour tickets. Will be flooded with people and, in turn, a lot of folks who have no idea what they're in for going to a large festival and camping out in the hot desert all day

    idk man

They should have Taylor play on one stage and The 1975 play on another we'll see how that goes

saw this at WWWY last year, lots of people not prepared for being at a festival all day in desert heat. Thankfully Coachella has a bit more shade but not much.

It's something I've noticed in general specifically over the past 5-8 years. Streaming has democratized music consumption so it's no longer concert veterans being the majority audience at festivals. You get a lot of people sleeping in line, sprinting to the front and then trying to stay there for 11-12 hours without much water or bathroom breaks. Plus the people who go and think it's just like a casual day of day drinking without realizing that being on your feet, in the sun all day pounding alcohol is also not the best idea.

Cool they still bother to come over here, I imagine it must be a money-losing proposition at this point.

Just because one of the Lit guys lied to the police resulting in them coming to beat a homeless man to death doesn't necessarily make them MAGA...but it certainly doesn't help their cause.

    ummmm what?

But yeah, they performed at a bar with a thin blue line flag on the wall in the first video from their new album, and then AJay basically admitted the song "Mouth Shut" is about how it's better for him to just shut up about his political views.

In a world of Trapt's and Lit's, be a Hinder and lean into how corny your band is:

So I live down the street from where this happened; despite what Jeremy says, the general consensus of what happened was that Kelly Thomas was known to frequent the bus stop and train station area of downtown Fullerton (which Jeremy's bar shared a parking lot with) and Slidebar employees were told by someone at the bar to call Fullerton PD saying he was breaking into cars and throwing things at their customers (he wasn't). According to a few former employees, this was pretty standard practice for getting rid of the homeless in the area. Fullerton PD showed up as Kelly was in a manic episode and ultimately beat him to death on the sidewalk.

Whoa…sticker shock on those Rufus Du Sol prices…nothing under the tent in Toronto for under $200 USD and lawn is $100 before fees.

I’m not ready for 3 digit lawn prices next summer.

    Getting that bag this tour.
