Last years headliners were 2 acts that just graduated to arena level (and struggled in some markets) and an act that (if they actually toured) could do baseball stadiums in major markets.

I find it hard to believe they’re going from that caliber to suddenly having a stadium legacy act as a sub. But we’ll see

 

Rage makes sense but I don’t believe the rumors. They don’t always have the sub and headliner come from similar genres. I could see GD playing 9-1045 and Fred closing the stage from 1130-1.

I would die of laughter if Coachella bagged Operation Ivy with Green Day opening instead of Riot Fest.

 

It would be funny if they manage to get Op Ivy to reunite before Riot Fest. And I can see Green Day agreeing subbing for them.

But I know there is no way they would headline the same way No Doubt didnt headlined

 

If anyone deserves OP IVY it’s Riot

Maybe Goldenvoice is in talks with them doing some reunion shows tho?

 

Op Ivy would be a great pick for a reunion at Coachella for the old heads, but it's laughable to think they would headline. They would get the Blur subhead spot

when live nation bought Bonnaroo and began to turn it into another generic festival, a good portion of Inforoo made the switch over to Coachella and it seems that became the dominant festival being discussed over there.

also a lot posters there came from the old Coachella boards that they got rid of a few years ago.
