  1. I have actual thoughts I’ll post on this tomorrow, but for now I’ll say there’s a real tension to the carousel scene knowing that the meme horse is lurking just out of frame.

    Liked but didn’t love this. A lot of it worked but the framing it around the competition seemed out of place.

  4. Forgot to actually post my thoughts on this, but I'm also in the liked but didn't love it camp. From the birth scene on, it started to feel (for lack of a better phrase) too much like a movie, and it lost some of the emotional wallop that I thought it would deliver based on the first half.

    This moved me quite a bit, especially with some personal experiences. The ice skating ending lost me a little, but I was reeled back in with the egg ending. Love this review and the scene with them naked together and the sound design of the clock killed me. Love both of these actors so much and I think they’re insanely underrated.
