I’m calling you out on being on Russia’s side because it’s obvious. Out of the news that Russia just made this drastic escalation of bringing this war to the Korean Peninsula, your care is…..a fake scenario of an empty Polish building being strategically planned and targeted by NATO and Ukraine so that Ukraine gets support. That is brain worms.

You wouldn’t be reacting that way if it wasn’t so. There’s always a reason why you don’t support Ukraine getting support from NATO. No NATO weapons, although Russia gets weapons from other countries. No NATO troops, although Russia is using troops from another country. It’s all in bad faith.

Surely this is a response to the NK troop news. If so, it’s a step in an unfortunate, but realistic, direction. Could have been avoided if Putin didn’t bring in external weapons and troops.

the constant use of language about something "triggering" Article 5 as if it is some automatic thing leads to a lot of misunderstanding about what it actually is, functionally, in reality. what it says and how it works. what happens 'automatically' and what very much does not

And if Russia wins in their invasion, it will send a message to many countries that they need to invest in and develop nuclear weapons. They can no longer trust that the rule of law will protect them from being swallowed by their neighbor, and they certainly won’t be able to trust any nuclear-armed country to protect them.
