man, i accidentally spilled a drink on my desk a lil while back and it got on my laptop keyboard and Xbox controller-
now the caps lock, shift, and 'A' keys stick and barely budge and the same for the X & A buttons on my controller

anyone know of a solution for this outside of "buy a new one?"
i don't think i'll be able to remove the keys on this laptop either, so cleaning these would be difficult

disconnect it from power, if possible let the battery run dry.

spray it with any like kitchen cleaner and then start jamming the keys like a madman for 10 minutes or so.

you really want to make sure the laptop has no power. I can not stress this enough. Also you can totally remove the Keys. A knife should do the trick. just don’t touch the shift key and the space bar.

Can’t believe I didn’t know about MMO mouses, just got a cheap wired one with 12 buttons near the thumb, its fuckin awesome.
I’ve just been trying out all these free to play MMOs.

Guild Wars 2 is next. Played some last night and it looks promising.

aw man, i have distinct memories of playing the first one with my brother. Guild Wars is the only MMO i ever really tried in earnest

I see so much praise for the second one on Reddit. I played some last night and once I understood the 5 millions things going on I got into it. Theres a fuck load of content as far as expansions.

Finished SH2R last night and got the leave ending. Definitely plan to go back and get the other endings eventually, but going to play some more horror games in the run up to Halloween.

Don't know if I'll get to them all but I've installed Homebody, Detention, Devotion, Hollowbody and Silent Hill 4.

Very quick 100% completion run of Detention, I loved this game. It integrates Taiwanese politics and history into the horror plotline so effectively. It does get really dark in places so I'd take the content warnings seriously if you've never played this and are interested.

I've just this second found out there's a Netflix series based on this game so I'll probably check that out soon. Before that though I'm diving straight into Devotion. Heard nothing but good things and Detention's shown how good Red Candle are at horror.

40 hours in kinda losing steam in Refantazio. It’s just so repetitive and … dare I say mundane. Story is also not really doing anything interesting.

Apparently I bist have to push through but idk

I just finished the second dungeon and I have minimal complaints so far

Truly love the party members that I’ve gotten so far

I can see it being too repetitive for some people, but so far it doesn’t bother me.

I admit this is largely a me problem though Mortisimal Gaming also brought it up in his review.

I also just bump the difficulty down if I feel it getting too repetitive or annoying in games like this tbh and it helps speed things along.

I'd imagine the Persona games are far more repetitive than this be but we shall see

I literally just had to fill 13 days with activities that simply weren’t really available. No links, no combat, no dungeons. I just kept raising my eloquence. Literally worse than watching paint dry.

now I’m at the next location and it’s just the same formula for the 4th(?) time now.
Pick up bounties, talk to the informant, tackle the side missions and the bounties, play the dungeon and then fill the rest of my days with hopefully some hangouts and then hop back on the runner which is also such a slog every time.
