Yeah! God they could actually do a reboot type of show and get them all back for some middle aged drama queens hahaha.

Ok so watching HoV S2:
HAHAHAHA CLASSIC WES. I so miss his scheming and plotting and making deals with everyone. And New York being psychic, ahhhhhhhh I love the girl. Please don't get rid of her too soon show. Please! Or they could always bring her back every season, give her her due haha.

 

Ok Banana's HoV episode 2 recap/interview with Wes and his S40 latest recap/interview with Derrick are both great episodes. Whether you're a fan of Bananas or not he really does provide great insight and knows how to always have great conversations with his guests.

 

Listening to the HOV episode now. Loving it. Need to start listening to Bananas podcasts weekly. Not sure why I haven't before considering I've loved him and the challenge for decades.

 

Out of all the challenge podcasts out there hosted by cast, his is my favorite by far. He's been playing the game so long it's really cool to see his insight on how the games payed, why he does what he does, how he sees certain situations, etc. In the derrick episode he brought up how that before podcasts were even a thing him, Derrick, Kenny and Mark were attempting to tina Challenge Radio Show like 10+ years ago haha i had no idea! One of the coolest things I like about his show is how's he's been doing it so long, he ALWAYS has stories to reminisce about with that week's guest. One of my favorite episodes was his 100th from a few months back....it was him and CT for two hours just having fun. These Wes episodes are up there now too for me. Fun fact, he has a somewhat recent episode (April) with Cara where I thought hell had frozen over and it turns out that this was when S40 was filming and they were trying to get Bananas to keep his podcast going WHILE they were both out there filming and while I enjoyed the episode he says it was just a bad all around move because he didn't like the attention it was bringing him so he said no more lol.

 

LOL I love that MTV trolls Josh so hard. Probably my least favorite episode of the season, but kudos to Rachael. Also, happy with both eliminations.

RIP era 2 that was savage haha. Damn Tori! This switchup will be super interesting, so if there's 3 targets, I guess if one wins they're safe of course but are the other 2 going straight into elimination? Or what if none of the 3 win, then how is the two going into elimination decided?

 

I’m no Josh fan but why the hell was the Vacation Alliance giving him shit for getting Kayce thrown in? He wasn’t going to change Rachel’s mind and he’s actually friends with her in real life. I feel like he was being made the scapegoat for them not getting what they wanted.

Glad Devin and Kaycee are gone. I found Devin incredibly annoying this season, almost Jay Season 39 level, and Kaycee brings absolutely nothing to the table, I forget she’s even on the show unless she’s up for elimination.

Will be interesting to see how this season shakes out moving forward.

 

Looks like Bananas is going to be enemy #1 per usual.

 

Yup but I like his chances in an elimination against Ryan or Derek unless the loser from the Challenge automatically goes in and the winner of the Challenge picks which target gets to go into an elimination.

Apparently there was a lot more to the Bananas/Devin thing but it wasn’t shown. Hopefully Bananas explains more of it on his Podcast.

 

Yea, I couldnt understand why Devin was so hell bent on eliminating "the banana man." I listened to the last pod with Wes.

 

It was really strange especially since they were on good terms on Season 38.

 

I figured it was just from that one thing Bananas said to Michelle about Devin using her. I honestly grew to like Devin the last few seasons, but his performance in that elimination was terrible.

 

It depends on the season (what other cast members are on) as to whether I like Devin. I found him incredibly annoying this season and was rooting against him but on the past 3 seasons he was on was rooting for him.

I still don’t understand his strategy for the elimination. I think he was trying to take one chord out at a time and match them up with the plug and hit the button to see if he was right.

 

Yeah I have no idea what happened that elimination. Both were even matchups tho, as much as I'm not a fan of the new new era 4 people Kyland is one of my favs because I really enjoyed him in his season of big brother and I actually rooted for him to win it. So I was glad to see him come on this show. Him and Michelle are my favs that they've taken from BB/Survivor.

Re: Devin and Bananas, I dunno what happened. After the whole drama that happened a while back I thought they made up or at least they weren't on BAD terms.

Podcasts should be a good listen. Devin is on the official challenge podcast, Bananas has Rachel as his guest and I listen to the other podcast that has Paulie just because he can provide a "different" side to everything and he's unfiltered haha.

 

Yea Kyland grew on me quickly during S39. Him and Horachio sound like genuine guys and I like that.

Horacio while a phenomenal competitor just doesn't have the drive to be all up in the drama and make good TV. He just wants to compete. Kyland, I feel is a lot like other BB players and they don't transition well to the challenge because they really are two different kind of shows. This recent season of BB had the first ever "ready made for the challenge" contestant I've ever seen (Tucker) so I eagerly anticipate his rookie season and he's just as crazy as when Jordan flipped all of the cards.

 

Someone on the challenge Reddit said that they should throw all the BB people in a house and do a season of The Real World.

 

DAMN. Tori is kinda right, with making enemies if all those women plus their BFs. War has definitely descended on the house and battle lines drawn. Sucks she's safe, I wanted to see her get hers.

Banana's Angels was hilarious. Really hope he can nab Ryan for his podcast, I feel they'd be full of snark for each other!

 

Also wtf why did they allow Tori to be safe when they didn't allow Rachel once they went to singles? TJ never said ANY female BUT the winner aka Rachel but tonight he said it for Tori.

 

I'm shocked at how quickly and badly Michelle is spiraling. She always considered herself a strong competitor and basically gave up on herself. And it wasn't just during her dehydrated state cause she said it in a confessional.
I hope this doesn't bite Bananas in the ass.

 

Yeah it seems Devin did a number on her too just like he had his mind elsewhere thanks to her. I kinda don't blame him tho, Era 3 is literally playing Get Revenge For Devin and it makes no sense as to why? Banana's and Rachel talked a good bit about it on last week's podcast but his game was so flawed and it makes no sense to have these such loyal followers.

 

The problem with Tori’s enemy theory is Theo and Kyland really have no power in getting Bananas out of the game. Only the females do since they are the ones that pick the opposite sex. Bananas’ only male ally is Josh but Bananas has the numbers and the best females on his side, minus Cara. Rachel is the smartest one having deals with Bananas and Jordan.

I absolutely think Tori made a bad decision throwing Bananas in because odds were he would beat either Ryan or Derek and come from her. Plus her reason for throwing in Bananas made no sense and Devin absolutely got in her head.

 

Who else could Bananas have thrown in though? The only other female that he could pick not in his alliance was Cara and why make her an emery if you don’t have to.
