Seated for Smile 2 and I gotta say, I’m smiling too.

 

that Wolfman trailer was cool but it maybe showed a bit too much

 

Definitely not planning on watching the Wolf Man trailer before I go and see it. Horror movies are sooo much better going in as blind as possible because I feel like their trailers always show too much and/or shows the scariest scenes.

 

The Wolfman trailer is with Smile 2, in case you’re trying to avoid it.

 

Yeah I didnt need to see the creature in the trailer at all, hope that shot in the windshield of the truck is just early in the movie and not the full transformation. Can barely see anything in that dark shot luckily.

 

Sometimes I think about how long a scene needs to get set up to get everything right with effects and whatnot and I have to commend “Smile 2” with the work they put into the five second cutaway of the “jaw crowbar” scene.

 

Hmm didn't get that trailer last night

 

I didn't even know there was a Wolfman movie coming until I saw the trailer last week in front of Speak No Evil

Smile 2 really upped the ante on fucked up, even compared to the first. Still think both this and the first are a bit bloated but ultimately I really liked it

 

I’m skipping the trailer but this makes me feel better.

in all seriousness, no, Flanagan's stuff isn't scary most of the time, but that's not really what i look for from him

on that note, i know we all look for different things in horror and that's fine. i'm not actually trying to fight anyone for disliking Flanagan haha

 

Concept sounds dope, but when I saw that earlier I couldn’t help but think of Scream. lol

I’m sure it’s just a funny coincidence though.

 

Funnily enough, I think scary is pretty low on the list of what I look for in horror.

Hereditary came close tho

 

Luca's been on such a hot streak I can't imagine doubting him, he made a movie about tennis one of the most interesting films of the year
