Damien Leone’s horror franchise. The third installment just was released into theaters. Figured it was worth finally having a full thread for it as it gains notoriety!

Argument can be made that Elf did it already, but Art fanboying over Santa got me really good.

Not a big horror/suspense fan, but after all the hype the last few years I watched the first Terrifier. Absolutely loved it. Watched the second one after and enjoyed it. Not so much the lure they are attempting, but the action sequences. Cant wait to see 3!

Saw this again last night to a packed screening. Bunch of 13-15 year olds who snuck in. On second viewing it’s hard to argue with anyone saying this isn’t for them — it’s pure sicko shit and that last 15-20 mins is just torture porn to the highest extent lmao

Saw it today and i loved it. Best one in the franchise so far.

  14. I was taking a walk in my neighborhood last night after it was dark, and I noticed that one of my neighbors has a life-size art the clown decoration inside of his house. It was insane.

The night before i saw the movie, i got some drinks with friends and there was a man at the bar, dressed as a black and white sad clown. That was creepy and cool. No idea what the context was for him but it felt ominously fitting in the lead up to my screening.

2 > 3 > 1. I loved the Christmas setting for this one, when he meets Santa is fantastic. I don't think the shower scene was worth the hype. In my opinion the bedroom scene from 2 was way way worse.

Watched T1 over the weekend, Certainly needed to take breaks but it was fun and Art is a wildly entertaining slasher killer. The macabre vibe is great. Excited to see the other two. Glad T3 is a smash hit though, absolutely wild

Loved this one, so much fun. Few things I didnt like, but all in all it was a blast.
1>3>2 I know most people rank 2 as the best, but for me 1 is the best because its not only the darkest and griddiest, but most realistic (except for last 5 mins.) Terrifier 2 just had too much lore in it and the whole thing became a fairy tale. I wasnt expecting all of that. Like the little girl clown in it that follows him, the no need for a scene ice cream truck sing a long, and length of film. So I was atleast expecting the continuation of the lore in #3 so it made me go in there knowing what I was going to get.

Umbrella's got their Terrifier "Art Attack" boxset collecting the three movies so far, as well as All Hollow's Eve. i went for it and bought it. my order qualified for free shipping, so that was a nice surprise.

Saw this tonight. 3>2>1. Damien is becoming a much better director, writer, and editor with each installment.

I was expecting the cold open to go harder given the reactions I’ve read. The shower scene ,however, was as wild as I was expecting/wanted. My god. I think the one kill that got me the most was the rat tube. Art hammering the tube down was so fucking intense.
One of the best things in 3 was the very intentional humor. David Thornton goes to town and it’s to the film and character’s benefit.
