based on the price I’m thinking August Burns Red, Underoath, The Maine, Wonder Years level acts….maybe….maybe a day to remember

    Yeah that's like $50 a ticket + $25 fees aka normal

John // OC now, OH forever.

Extremely fair pricing considering a single day WWWY is $300+.

    Long Beach it is!

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Lineup-wise, I get the feeling it will be similar to the Mountain View lineup of the 25th anniversary fest, minus the big headliners. It’ll just be stacked with a lot of higher-mid, mid and smaller bands.

Like, something along the lines of Bad Religion or New Found Glory-level popular

It won’t have near the lineup wwwy has though
For what bands? We don’t even know who’s playing.

At this point, I'd be kind of surprised if WWWY even happens next year. Knowing people travel for these things, they're likely not going to run a similar lineup to compete against themselves a few weeks after Las Vegas in Orlando.

Right off the bat, I expect Sublime to headline the Long Beach dates. They performed at the 1st Warped Tour 30 years ago

I'm surprised WWWY isn't just being rebranded to Warped Tour

If there is a huge band at the long beach date, I hope it is Blink 182

Did they do that weekly lineup announcements one year or am I imagining it?

locations kinda suck for me, and there’s no way i’m interested in this until i see a lineup. the price point rules though. for all the things lyman sucks at, he does a great job putting together an affordable music festival. i really miss having the ability to see so many artists i really enjoy without having to jump on a plane or drive for a million hours to do it.

I can see the long beach lineup kind of looking something like

Headliners: Blink 182, Pierce the Veil, A Day to Remember or something similar to that. I strongly think Blink is at least gonna be at one of these things.

I can also see your Mayday Parade, Boys Like Girls, Real Friends, The Maine, Waterparks, Neck Deeps playing this thing.

    Things have changed.

They don't have the budget to book this version of blink.

Blink’s biggest ever take home from a single concert was this year, $5.7M after selling 51k tickets at SoFi stadium. Most of their gigs are $2-2.5M.

I don’t know the financials but if warped offered $3-4M for a single show where none of their production costs are baked into it, I think they’d easily take it lol

those ticket prices wouldnt make sense if headliner was getting 3-4 mil

The headliners here will not be $3 million bands

agreed. I’m thinking this is a 35-40k day fest at $150 (right now). They could book bands like ADTR, NFG, TBS, PTV for under $500k and fill this out.
