I liked Denton a lot more than Marietta personally. Marietta’s “downtown” vibe is very much carried by The Battery which feels very “marketed to you” and inauthentic. The old town district itself is kinda bland, Denton has the “old town” vibe even more so than Marietta does and that area itself is walkable with SO much to do that’s far more like, local business oriented than the bustling parts of Marietta

 

Orlando has more than theme parks!

Much like somewhere like Vegas, I can't pretend to know real Orlando. But I have a blast every time I'm there.

Well I didn’t say that - but it’s a city twice the size and three times the hassle, so the bar is a lot higher, and I am expecting to have a more impressive first impression with a city like that

Which to be completely fair Tampa area (including St Petersburg) did impress me in that way and feel like a “major city” in terms of how fun it felt to be there.

Orlando is the size of Baltimore, Charlotte, etc and bigger than Nashville and New Orleans, of course I judge it more harshly if it’s not nearly as cool as those places haha

Jacksonville is the size of like… Oklahoma City or Birmingham lol so it’s more understandable if it sucks a little bit lol

 

Nah. That city is way down any list I'd ever conjure.

Seattle is my next likely stop.

But somewhere else in PNW could work or maybe Chicago.
