Yeah this is how I talk about where I grew up too lol.

 

I think it’s both haha.

There’s not NOTHING in Jax. That’s a very biased viewpoint. It obviously has more going on than Davenport lol (it’s actually probably comparable to OKC)

 

I grew up in Rockwall and it has grown a shit ton since I was there but when I was there it was cozy and nice and full of the worst people ever

Now it's busy and has more things to do and still full of the worst people ever

Then I moved to Denton which is the exact same as it was back then except more expensive and some local places have switched into other local places and now there's a Buc-ees

 

Denton was cool. Like a nicer Marietta

 

I def would not say Jax is as cool as the actual cool cities in this country but the way you represent it is pretty unfair to the fact that it DOES have some really nice parks, attractions and at least a handful of great hangout spots in each urban part of the area.

 

We enjoy going there from time to time, I don't think I could enjoy living there as much as I did previously (aka when I was young and drinking all the time) but we like to go there for crawfish boils and shows and stuff

 

is it worth defending though?

 

Maybe not hahah

Same it's the reverse of how I thought getting older was supposed to go

 

I have a strong preference for my next place to live, but have no real connection anywhere yet.

Speaking of which @CarpetElf would you be mad if me and Laura made you and Ana go to Universal Hollywood with us on one of the days when we go there
